Mumbai: A unique LGBTQ-focused matchmaking initiative, “Jab We Matched – From Swipes to Something Real,” is set to take place on 19 April 2026 at The LaLiT, Mumbai.
Organized by Mr & Mr in collaboration with Kitty Su, the event aims to provide a curated, in-person alternative to dating apps, focusing on meaningful connections within the gay community.
The one-day experience is designed for individuals looking to move beyond casual interactions and explore deeper, more intentional relationships. Unlike traditional social gatherings, the event will feature structured formats such as guided conversations, speed dating sessions, and interactive activities to facilitate genuine engagement among participants.
A key highlight of the initiative is its emphasis on authenticity and community building, including open discussions and Q&A sessions with real couples, offering participants relatable insights into navigating relationships.
The organizers describe the event as a response to the growing fatigue around digital dating platforms, where meaningful connections can often feel limited.
“The idea is simple — no algorithms, no ghosting, just real conversations and real possibilities,” the concept emphasizes.
The event will run from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with arrangements that include meals and a comfortable, inclusive environment for attendees.
With participation being limited and curated, the experience is positioned as a premium and selective gathering, encouraging serious engagement from attendees.
